Michael is a retired elementary and secondary school teacher still active as an executive member of a local teachers’ union in Simcoe County. 

As a founding board member, his experience as a former Policy Chair for a Simcoe North federal party informs his vision and aspirations for Sustainable Orillia. He feels Sustainable Orillia can play a valuable role in helping all of us come to terms with what it means to live sustainably… and what’s at stake, for all of us, if we fail to do so.
