Sustainable Orillia Celebrated the success of its 6th Electric Vehicle (EV) event, held at Centennial Park. The event brought together an impressive 18 vendors showcasing a wide array of eco-friendly technologies, including electric vehicles, e-bikes, e-scooters, heat pumps, electric outboard motors, household solutions, electric outdoor appliances , and charging solutions.
This year’s event not only highlighted the growing interest in sustainable solutions but also reinforced its position as the largest event of its kind in Simcoe County. Attendees had the opportunity to explore the latest in green products and connect with industry leaders, making the event a hub for environmental education and community engagement.
Building on this momentum, Sustainable Orillia is excited to announce that planning is already underway for the7th iteration of this event, rebranded as the Green Innovation Weekend. Scheduling for July 26 and 27, 2025, at Centennial Park, the expanded event aims to attract an even broader range of vendors and extend its market reach to inspire more communities across the region.
Stay tuned for more updates on what promises to be a transformative weekend for sustainability enthusiasts and innovators alike. Sustainable Orillia looks forward to making next year’s event bigger and better, driving progress toward a greener future.
