Who We Are
Sustainable Orillia is a community-based organization dedicated to promoting sustainability and environmental awareness in Orillia. We work on a variety of projects, from tree planting and community gardens to renewable energy education and waste reduction initiatives. Our mission is to empower residents to take action for a greener, healthier future.
How You Can Help
We have a range of volunteer opportunities to suit all interests and skill levels:
Event Planning and Coordination: Help organize and run events that educate and engage the community. Communications and Outreach: Spread the word about our initiatives through social media, newsletters, and community presentations.
Project Support: Assist with hands-on projects like tree planting, community clean-ups, and sustainable workshops. Research and Advocacy: Conduct research on sustainability issues and advocate for policies that support our goals.s
