B.S., M.E.S. spent 36 years as a federal civil servant, most of it with Environment Canada where he participated in fulfilling Canada’s responsibilities under the Canada-U.S. Great Lakes Water Quality Agreement which called for the restoration and protection of the Great Lakes ecosystem.
His last posting was as Environment Canada’s Ontario Regional Director of the Environmental Protection Service. He co-wrote the Melbourne Principles for Sustainable Cities. Danny and his wife, Maxine (nee Gold) moved to Orillia in 2017. Maxine was raised in Orillia. Her parents owned Gold’s Men’s Wear.
