Jessica currently serves as the Director of Sustainability at Hydro One. Since joining the Hydro One team in 2018, Jessica has been successful in accelerating Hydro One’s sustainability practices. She is a proven and collaborative relationship builder who led the development of Hydro One’s first sustainability strategy
Before joining Hydro One, Jessica spent her career in both the private and non-profit sectors to strategically implement sustainability initiatives. Jessica continues to serve on the Campaign for Wool in Canada Board and serves as a mentor for new Canadians as part of the Toronto Region Immigrant Employment Council (TRIEC).
“I’m delighted to join Sustainable Orillia and be a part of a team working to create positive change,” Jessica says. “I believe it’s important to show that everyone can help make the world more sustainable, and organizations like Sustainable Orillia play a valuable role in providing leadership in the communities it serves.”
Sustainable Orillia’s President, Stan Mathewson, adds, “Jessica brings a unique combination of education, professional experience and perspectives on what being “sustainable” means. We are so fortunate to have her join the Board. She has already contributed to our Earth Day webinar in April and will be an active member of several sectors as well as a supporter of the Youth Council. Welcome to the team, Jessica!”
