Hats off to Wilkie’s Bakery for quietly upgrading their containers over this past year. Those ubiquitous brittle plastic clam shells have been replaced with recyclable containers – so you can buy even more of those delicious butter tarts with a clear conscience. And given that Wilkie’s Bakery uses approximately 17,000 to 20,000 of these containers a year – this is a small change that is making a big difference.
