MSW EdD, Gord is a retired adult education consultant and 40-year resident of the Orillia area. He is a founding board member and Past President of the Couchiching Conservancy, and a former board member of the Orillia & District Arts Council. Gord has had a life-long affiliation with YMCA Geneva Park.
