Fred is a retired Twin Lakes English teacher and has been a resident of the Orillia area since 1971. He is a member of the Orillia Vocal Ensemble, a Past President of the Orillia Kiwanis Club, and is one of the founders of both the Orillia Centre for Arts + Culture (in 2014) and Sustainable Orillia (2019). He and wife Lois live in Oro-Medonte.
